The Easy Curve Templates are easy to use with a 28mm rotary cutter.  They are laser cut for accuracy, have non-slip backing and are brightly colored for ease in locating.  The patches can be hand or machine pieced.  The entire collection — 2" to 8" will cut any size between 2" and 8" in quarter-inch increments.  Additional techniques (double cut and piece, modified) can also be employed with the templates.

Any three templates which are ¼" apart create a cutting set.  The smallest template is cut from a square ½" inch larger than the finished patch size, i.e. 4" patch, start with a 4-½" square.  The square is used in the patch, the fabric under the template is used in a smaller patch.  The largest of the three templates is used to cut the quarter circle that fits into the square.  The middle template is used to mark the seam line for hand piecing.  When working on the machine, I suggest you keep the quarter circle on the bottom as you pin and sew.  If you are using a serger or the Curve Master Presser Foot, place the quarter circle on top.  Basic instructions come with the templates.
